The Peruvian MCs Jair Wong Y Stick They went to the quarterfinals, breaking the bad streak that has affected the Peruvian representatives in the contest Red Bull International Final since 2017.

Jair Wong was the first to move on to the next phase, beating his Chilean rival Basek. The Peruvian MC had entered the International Final at the last minute, after winning the Plazas Tournament that took place in Viña del Mar on December 9. For his victory, Wong overcame tough opponents like Imigrante, Jokker and Wolf.

His fight against Basek was a bloody battle where, with clever rhymes, both participants insulted each other for their appearance, popularity and more. Surprisingly, the genocidal Adolf Hitler was also able to infiltrate the rhymes.

In the end, after a battle that extended to the third round of replies, the jury made up of MC Blazzt (Chile), Fox (Peru), Cacha (Argentina), Invert (Spain) and Valles-T (Colombia) gave him the victory to Wong.

“Thanks for the welcome. No localism. This is Chile, damn it, ”Wong told the audience before leaving the stage. Now he will have to face Aczino.

Stick also achieved a victory by defeating Argentine KLAN, an even sweeter victory because during the battle of rhymes his opponent reminded him of his defeat last year. His next opponent will be the reigning champion Rapder.
