The actor’s funeral will be held in Paris on Thursday.

The funeral of actor Gaspard Ulliel, who died at 37 after a skiing accident, is scheduled for Thursday in Paris, his agent Laurent Grégoire told AFP on Saturday. The ceremony must take place in the Saint-Eustache church, added the agent, who did not give further details.

The accidental death of Gaspard Ulliel has sparked a multitude of tributes to a man who led a brilliant career and was very popular in the film world. An investigation was entrusted by the public prosecutor’s office of Albertville (Savoie) to the CRS Alpes to clarify the circumstances of the fatal collision between Gaspard Ulliel and another skier, which occurred on Tuesday in the resort of La Rosière, in Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

Albertville prosecutor Anne Gaches clarified that Gaspard Ulliel had “collided with another skier (…) when he had just turned left, presumably to join his friends who were” on another track of the Rosière ski area. When help arrived, the actor was motionless, unconscious in the snow, and the other skier was unharmed.

He had finished shooting the film “More than ever”

During an eclectic career, Gaspard Ulliel had toured alongside big names in cinema, such as Isabelle Huppert and Gérard Depardieu. With his slight scar linked to a dog scratch in childhood, he was also the face of a Chanel perfume.

He led a career in France but also internationally and will be featured in the Marvel series Moon Knight, aired March 30 on Disney +. He was recently filming for a series of Xavier Giannoli expected on Canal +, his agent told AFP, and had finished filming More than ever, co-authored by Vicky Krieps and Liv Ullmann.
