VIDEO. ‘I thought I was going to die’: Secret Santa turns into drama over THC and H4CBD candy

An evening with friends that turns into a nightmare. During a Christmas dinner in Paris a few days ago, ten 40-year-old men exchanged Secret Santa gifts. One of the guests offers gummies purchased that same day from a Parisian “CBD store.” Each of the guests consumes one, considering the product completely harmless. What they think is a simple CBD “candy” is actually a new product with H4CBD, a synthetic cannabinoid that on paper is associated with less than 0.3% THC content, as required by law. But they don’t know this yet…

Very quickly, very disturbing consequences begin to emerge among ten friends. For some, this even leads to convulsions, hallucinations, discomfort… “I thought I was going to die, I saw a black tunnel with a white light at the end, which was narrowing,” he still recalls Quentin in shock. *. “I told myself I would never see my children again,” adds Camilla*. Only seven of the ten guests will end the evening in the hospital.
