Children with serious E. coli poisoning: ‘We’re seeing an increase in cases with no obvious explanation’

On average, more than a hundred children are affected each year, and this number has been increasing since monitoring began thirty years ago. The year 2022, marked by several collective infections from industrial pizzerias, was a record year with 253 cases reported.
