Learn how to prepare a delicious pasta with broccoli for babies 1 year and older

This recipe apart from being practical and fast is very rich, take note! In general, broccoli is one of the vegetables that boys like the most and if we combine it with pasta, even better. If you wish, you can accompany it with a delicious grilled chicken, for babies I recommend the chicken sasami, because it is soft and juicy.

  • 300 grams long or short pasta
  • 1 medium broccoli steamed or boiled in hot water (cook about 5-7 minutes until al dente).
  • 1.5 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of the pasta water
  • 1 or 2 egg yolks (to give body to the sauce)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 garlic clove sweated in a tablespoon of olive oil (optional, it’s delicious, but not essential)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (off the heat)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (optional, added off heat)

Cook pasta and broccoli separately al dente. Reserve a little of the pasta cooking water to use later, this gives body to the sauce. If it provokes you, you can sweat a clove of garlic with olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat, then add the finely chopped broccoli and pasta, turn up the heat. Immediately add the milk with the egg yolks lightly beaten or passed through a sieve, the pasta water and cook for a couple of minutes so that the yolks cook and the sauce takes on body. Off the heat, add the olive oil and Parmesan cheese.
