No bread for breakfast? Learn how to make quickies at home in less than 15 minutes

Follow the steps:

Ingredients

  • A cup of unprepared flour
  • 150 ml. of water
  • 3 tablespoons of oil of your choice

Preparation

In a container, mix the flour, water and oil, preferably using your clean hand, until all the ingredients are well integrated. When a homogeneous mass has been formed, transfer the preparation to your work table. Knead for about 4 minutes so that the dough becomes friendlier. If you feel that the preparation needs a little more flour so that it does not stick to your hands, do it, but without exaggerating. Form some balls with the dough. The size will depend on how big you want your wheat tortillas. Once ready let them rest for about 5 minutes. Now stretch the dough using a roller or a very clean bottle. You have to stretch giving it a circular shape and making it very thin. Heat a frying pan, preferably Teflon, over low heat and without oil. When it is hot, place the tortillas one by one. This cooking is very fast, maximum 10 seconds per side.
