Marble cake: the easy and delicious recipe with which you will surprise your family

Follow the steps:


  • 2 cups of unprepared flour
  • A cup of sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 150 grams of chocolate cover
  • 50 g butter (preferably unsalted)
  • A teaspoon of salt
  • A spoonful of vanilla essence
  • 8 grams or 2 ½ teaspoons of baking powder


Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees and grease the mold that you will use with a little oil. Beat the egg whites with the salt and half the sugar, that is, half a cup, until stiff. Booking. You can help yourself with a mixer, or do it by hand, but it will take more time. Mix the egg yolks, vanilla, milk and the rest of the sugar until all the ingredients are well integrated. Then you will add the flour previously sifted with the baking powder in parts, and mix in an enveloping way. Once integrated add the egg whites you reserved. Don’t beat, just mix a little at a time. Then divide this preparation into two equal parts. Put the covering chocolate and butter in a bain-marie until completely dissolved. You can also do it in the microwave in 20 second batches. To a part of your preparation, add the chocolate cover that you previously let cool, until you achieve a homogeneous mixture. Add both mixtures to the mold in small portions and alternately. With a toothpick, mix the dough only on top to make sure it has a nice design. Take the preparation to the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 50 minutes. If you insert the toothpick and it comes out dry, it means that you can now remove the cake from the oven. Let it cool for about 15 minutes and remove it from the mold.
