How to make a sweet and fluffy orange cake? The recipe with less than 10 ingredients

A classic recipe that you should not miss, a rich orange cake. It is very easy to prepare and with basic ingredients that we normally have at home. I love making cakes with my daughters and taking them to invitations or when we receive visitors at home. It is always special to wear something made by one.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of prepared flour.
  • 120 grams of unsalted butter at room temperature.
  • 1 cups of blonde, white sugar or if you want panela.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice.
  • Zest of an orange.
  • 1/2 cup of milk.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  • a pinch of salt

Preparation:

First beat the butter with the sugar for a few minutes. Then add the eggs, one by one and continue beating for a few more minutes. Immediately add the orange juice and zest and mix well. Subsequently, little by little add the sifted flour together with the salt, interspersed with the milk mixed with the vanilla, and incorporate everything with the help of a rubber spatula or with a hand whisk, in an enveloping way. Finally, pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold, with parchment paper on the base to remove it easily. Cook it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Farenheit for approximately 50 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool a bit before unmolding it. Then, when it has cooled, dust it with powdered sugar and serve.
