“Kisses, Kitty”: 5 restaurants to live the Korean experience in Lima

Netflix brought back Kitty Covey, but this time telling her own love story, which unlike her sister, takes place in Seoul. The ending is probably not what we expected, but if you want to feel like you are part of history for a moment, we bring you five places that you can visit in Lima to enjoy Korean flavors.

1. Biwon Bistro

A restaurant that proposes to make the hearts of its visitors feel the warmth of a Korean home and is that it offers the most traditional food, without the option of fusion, where inputs are a priority to maintain that flavor. The menu is divided into appetizers where there is the Kimchi Bokumbap at 58 soles, which is Kimchi Chaufa with chopped white onion and bacon on an egg omelette, or the Bibim Nengmyon at 64 soles, which are buckwheat noodles scrambled in Traditional chili sauce with pieces of beef, cucumber, turnip and egg. The traditional soups are inescapable and prices range from 59 soles to 67 soles and three grill options that you can share with your companions.

2.Nodaji

For more than 20 years, Nodaji has been offering traditional Korean food to its diners, more than 50 typical dishes are what you can try in the place, including fried chicken with garlic and chili at 70 soles (for two people), Miso soup at 40 soles, Spicy Guksu at 40 soles, Tubukimchi at 90 soles. In addition, it also offers typical Korean drinks.

3. Conamu

One of the most visited restaurants by connoisseurs of Korean culture, it is known that the Arenales Shopping Center has long lines almost every day, so if you are looking to go, we recommend that you go early. The house specialty is the special Dosirak at 32 soles, Bulgogui or Donkasu at 27 soles, but there are also other dishes such as kasu, Ramen and Dopab.

4. House Korea

A house where the most characteristic flavors of Korea are found, such as fried chicken from 40 soles or the Korean grill for two or four people from 160 soles, Kimbap of 10 pieces at 20 soles, Ramion that can be ordered spicy, semi-spicy and without spicy, Bowl Bap and personal combos with noodles, meats, among others.

5.Surasang

A small space in Jesús María and whose specialty is Mochis, which are round-shaped rice cakes with a rubbery texture, you can find them in different flavors such as matcha, Strawberry, Oreo, among others. But they also offer Bibibamp, Kimchi Dopbap, Fried Chicken, among other dishes.
