Beef and carrot burgers: a quick and easy recipe for those days without the desire to cook

Mix the ground meat with the eggs, the finely grated carrot, the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, cumin and oregano. Now integrate all the ingredients well, preferably using your clean hand. Try making balls with the mixture that will be the base of your hamburgers. If you feel they are sticking to your hands a lot, add more breadcrumbs until you get the right consistency. Now make balls according to the size of the hamburger you want. Then squash them slightly with your fingers to give them the final shape. Fry the burgers in very hot oil; but then lower the heat so that they are cooked well inside and golden even.

Complete your lunchbox with:

Tomato slices + strawberries with homemade condensed milk + water

An advice:

These burgers are perfect to prepare and freeze for up to 3 months. That way, when you get up to pack your lunch box, you’ll only use what you need; you defrost and fry them, or take them to your air fryer.

One tip:

You can make your own version of a homemade hamburger by following the same steps. You can change the beef for pork, chicken meat; until adding vegetables, such as spinach, chard, pepper, onion or tomato to taste.
