Hummus is a delicious chickpea cream with which we can accompany our raw vegetables, breads or toasts. It is a simple and high protein preparation that is made in a few minutes. Take note of the advice of Alessandra Arce, an expert in plant-based cooking.
Ingredients:
-250 gr cooked chickpeas (3/4 cup of raw chickpeas approx)
-1 roasted garlic (at 200C for 30 mins)
-1/4 cup lemon juice
-1/4 cup tahini
-2 tablespoons olive oil
-1/2 tsp cumin
-1 tsp salt
-1-2 ice cubes
-paprika to taste.
Preparation:
Boil the previously soaked chickpeas for 45-50 minutes until soft. Process Tahini with lemon juice. Scrape the walls well. Add the roasted garlic, olive oil, salt and cumin. Process. Pour half of the boiled chickpeas. Process. Add the other half and process for a few minutes. Add ice cubes for a better texture. Add salt and serve. Advantage 🙂
