Artist transforms antique furniture into works of art

Many times we don’t know what to do with those furniture old that take up space in the house and we end up getting rid of them. American artist Ted Lott decided to go further and creatively transformed his old furniture in mind-blowing creations (Photo: tedlott.com)

Lott has built miniature houses and shelters out of wood on top of recycled furniture, chairs and stools. His work exploits the art of carpentry and you can see how he plays with each element, resulting in pieces that capture attention. (Photo: tedlott.com)

In this way, the artist mixes the ancient forms of the furniture with the volumes of the current architecture. A meticulous work that becomes a work of art.
