Cooking tips:

You can use other flavors of homemade marzipan: replace the anise with a little lemon or orange zest to give the marzipan a citrus touch. You can add a little cocoa powder and you will have a delicious chocolate marzipan. Incorporate other spices such as cinnamon or cardamom.

At Christmas time, you can’t miss other traditional sweets that you can easily prepare at home. Try the traditional almond pollorones, the guirlache nougat or the roscón de reyes with candied fruits.
