After nine years of absence, the Harvest Festival will return to Pueblo Libre, to offer a weekend full of tradition, culture, fun and gastronomy.
The event will take place in the Plaza de Los Libertadores and will feature attractions such as the traditional grape stomping, which this year will seek a record number of 180 kilos of grapes, to the contagious rhythm of the cajon and Creole music.
In addition, the traditional grape cutting will take place.
“We are very excited about the Pueblo Libre Harvest Festival, which with its treading of grapes evokes harvest times, brings us closer to our traditions and promotes the consumption of quality wine products made by Peruvian entrepreneurs,” declared the mayor of Pueblo Libre, Mónica Tello.
Another traditional moment of the festival will be the election of Miss Vendimia Pueblo Libre 2024.
Eight candidates will compete for the crown. The jury will be made up of the mayor of Pueblo Libre, Monica Tello, the beauty queen, Marina Mora and Miss Teen Model 2023, Nahomi Chujandama.
The Pueblo Libre Harvest Festival will have a wine-growing area where the public will be able to taste wines and piscos from different wineries in Ica, Chincha, Lunahuaná and Cañete. As well as dishes such as: carapulcra with wine, duck in wine, picarones in wine, as well as ice creams and cremoladas with new flavors.
The harvest will take place from Friday, March 22 to Sunday, March 24. On Saturday, March 23, the election of Miss Vendimia will take place starting at 4 pm
Admission to all dates is free.
