Iliana Schiantarelli: “I want to show that vegan food can be just as tasty as any other”

That is why Iliana Schiantarelli decided to undertake and her healthy meal plan project was born. We talked to her about her idea.

The love of cooking

Iliana, who studied gastronomy before becoming vegan, says that her journey to veganism began with “deep introspection.” “Since I was a child, I always felt a rejection towards the consumption of animals, but it was through meditation and spiritual search that I discovered that veganism was my path,” she says.

Iliana indicates that she found her passion in vegan cooking three years ago when she decided to embark on her own culinary path. “I always knew I wanted to be a chef, but my focus was always on exploring the diversity of vegetables. Now, my mission is to offer delicious and healthy vegan options to my customers, even those who are not vegan,” she explains.

When asked about how she selects the ingredients for her recipes, Iliana highlights her dedication and perfectionism. “I love personally selecting each ingredient I use in my dishes. It is important for me to know its provenance and quality to ensure an exceptional culinary experience,” she states. She knows that one of the secrets of good vegan cuisine is the quality and freshness of the ingredients.

Her healthy lunch company, Iliana mentions a wide variety that ranges from Peruvian classics like tacu tacu to international options like vegan lasagna. “I strive to offer dishes that are not only delicious, but also comforting and satisfying. “I want to show that vegan food can be just as tasty and comforting as any other,” he adds.

On the challenge of creating vegan dishes with authentic flavors and satisfying textures, Iliana reveals that it has been a process of trial and error. “It has taken time and dedication to find the right ingredients and techniques to achieve flavors and textures that surprise my customers,” she shares.

“I have made an effort and have compiled a compilation of the recipes and have also been working on perfecting them in order to be able to give them a quality and delicious product,” he adds.

Iliana’s culinary venture offers daily, weekly or monthly meal plans, adapted to the needs of each client. “Cooking is a demonstration of affection for people, even if I don’t know them physically, every detail I add to the dishes is a demonstration of affection, and doing so is transmitting love.”, he concludes.
