Unlimited snacks, music and cocktails on the Malecón Balta? This is the proposal of this rooftop in Miraflores

This rooftop is part of the proposal of the Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores hotel, which recently celebrated two years of operation. By the way, we were able to learn more about the different activities they offer during the week to take advantage of the space and the pleasant view.

“This space is designed to serve guests and offer them an interesting offer of cocktails in which we take advantage of national products and liquors. But it is also a space for local customers, who seek to take advantage of the rooftop and its activities,” explains Mario Chavez, Head Bartender of the space.

Unlimited music and cocktails

For example, from Monday to Wednesday they have an after office where you can enjoy cocktails based on pisco, gin and rum at special prices. On Thursdays and Fridays, music is the protagonist with Balta Nights, where each week different genres are the protagonists: from rock to salsa, including Latin and jazz.

To celebrate a special date, the Open Bar or All you can drink is an option that allows you to enjoy unlimited cocktails from 8 pm to midnight. The menu includes drinks based on gin, pisco, vodka and also beers and wine. It includes a snack, which can be anything from succulent chicken wings to tequeños with generous filling.

What to try?

If it is gin, Lady T is a refreshing option but with just the right amount of sweetness that makes it even more charming. It consists of red fruit gin, triple sec, lemon and grapefruit juice, tonic water and cranberries as garnish. It combines perfectly with the Creole chicken chicharrón, a classic appetizer that they version on this occasion with patacones, avocado sauce and cheddar cheese sauce.

For lovers of more woody and herbal flavors, the Elixir of Love is the one chosen. Based on Toronto pisco, Matacuy – a delicious distillate of Andean herbs -, pineapple and lemon juice and sparkling wine are added. The citrus touches combine with the faint sweet and enhance the flavors of the star distillate.

Crispy prawns are a good accompaniment to any cocktail. On a bed of guacamole with chalaquita and cocona, breaded prawns are served in three versions: with chili panka, grated coconut and corn flakes.

We can also find an interesting version of the Paloma cocktail but with pisco, a hirbaluisa Mojito and a Modern Mule, with Skyy, lemon, pineapple and ginger beer. Among the classic options we find the negroni, martini dry, old fashioned and Aperol spritz, among others.

Tequeños are Venezuelan style, with a very soft dough and perfect for containing a considerable amount of cheese. They are served with avocado and cheddar cheese sauce.

We even found alternatives for those who don’t drink, with interesting mocktails or non-alcoholic cocktails. Sunny day combines herbs with syrup, apple and thyme, while Algo Bravo incorporates hibiscus flower, orange juice and ginger.
