I was beginning to dialogue with this individual when suddenly, for no apparent reason, he violently punched me in the face. This individual, who was carrying a knife, then insulted us and threatened to kill us. »

A “gratuitous physical assault” which was quickly interrupted by the intervention of municipal agents, then the municipal police, who arrested the author of the blow to the face. Re-elected in March 2020 in this commune of the metropolis of Lyon, Xavier Odo had already received death threats in October 2020.
