In Vienne, the presidential majority saves three out of four constituencies

The presidential majority on Sunday saved three constituencies out of the four it held in Vienne, conceding Nupes the 1st (Poitiers).

In this 1st constituency partly in Poitiers, the outgoing Together! Françoise Ballet-Bru could not make up for her delay of four points in the first round against Lisa Belluco (Nupes-EELV). Lisa Belluco, 31-year-old environmental inspector, close to the environmentalist mayor of Poitiers Léonore Moncond’huy, won the ballot with 51.36%.

51.19% for Sacha Houlie

The other three Macronist candidates were to face a Nupes candidate and two RNs. In the 2nd constituency, the outgoing Sacha Houlié, who saw his permanence several times degraded during his mandate, won 51.19% of the vote, against Valérie Soumaille (Nupes).

In the 3rd district of Sud-Vienne (Civray), the majority candidate Pascal Lecamp (Ensemble-Modem) yet neck and neck in the first round with the RN Eric Soulat, largely won the election with 54.14% voices. In this constituency, outgoing MP Jean-Michel Clément, a former socialist re-elected in 2017 with En Marche and who left under the banner of Place Publique (center-left), was eliminated in the first round.

In the 4th constituency of Châtellerault, a territory marked by a suffering industrial basin, the outgoing deputy Nicolas Turquois (Ensemble-Modem) remains with 54.58%, facing the RN Marion Latus.
