RN: Renaissance representative uses artificial intelligence to make Marine Le Pen speak Russian

In a video broadcast on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, Renaissance spokesman Loïc Signore stole Marine Le Pen’s wish to make her speak Russian. “AI (artificial intelligence) becomes even scarier when it gets closer to reality. Find Marin Putin’s wishes for 2024,” he writes.

A distraction that is criticized by most Internet users. “I’m not sure if this is the idea of the century, according to which the majority party (any other party, especially the party in power) uses AI to modify the speeches of opponents…” commented Xavier Elbaz, mayor of Villedieu. -sur-Indre (Indre). The Renaissance Party, which during the presidential campaign was concerned about “deep fakes,” those fake videos that can trick anyone into saying anything, also refrained from distributing the video.

The attack did not occur by chance: the day before, the Washington Post accused RN of constant ties with the Kremlin in order to weaken French support for Ukraine. According to an investigation by an American newspaper, Russia is carrying out subversive activities in France, in which the party chaired by Jordan Bardella plays an important role.

RN condemns ‘conspiracy’

The newspaper cites “Kremlin documents obtained by the European security service” with the participation of Vladimir Putin’s entourage, whose methods, in its opinion, combine the influence of social networks – targeted with the help of “troll farms” – and the support of the far right.

“This is all a clique,” RN spokesman Laurent Iacobelli responded to Sud Radio on Tuesday, confirming that there is “no connection” between Russia and his party. Last June, a Macronist rapporteur for a parliamentary commission called the FN (now RN) Russia’s “drive belt”: she insisted on the party’s “compliance” with “Russian discourse” during the “illegal annexation” of Crimea in 2014, which occurred shortly after signing a loan with the Czech Republic. – Russian bank.

“RN is truly the Kremlin’s representative in France” and “plays a leading role in spreading Putin’s propaganda,” as the president’s Renaissance Party assessed in a post on X after a Washington Post investigation.
