The Europeans: Essayist Malika Sorel-Sutter to be No. 2 on RN’s list

The essayist Malika Sorel-Sutter announced this Sunday in an interview with the newspaper Le Figaro that she will appear on the National Rally list for the European elections next June. “A few years ago I noticed the decomposition of France. Today, supporting Marine Le Pen, being number 2 on the list headed by Jordan Bardella, I want to participate in the recomposition of France,” she explains in the newspaper columns.

The essayist, author, among others, of the book “French Decay”, published in 2015, was appointed by Nicolas Sarkozy, then President of the Republic, a member of the High Council for Integration in 2009 and so on until the dissolution of the council in 2012. In 2017, she particularly supported François Fillon.

“I was traumatized by the undemocratic conditions in which François Fillon was eliminated in 2017,” she explains, adding: “I have been an orphan since then: I have not found anyone in LR who has the political courage to correct the situation.” leave France and build the necessary Europe of nations and peoples.” And in conclusion: “I am in what the RN brings: freedom to undertake, freedom for the French and European peoples to regain the levers of power.”

“We are proud to count on her”

The essayist explains that the “challenge” of European elections is to have the maximum number of MPs able to influence every decision, in particular through “thematic alliances”. In this interview, she raises the issue of the “migration pact”, arguing that “people are against Europe remaining a house without doors, windows and a roof.” She also questions the Green Pact, wanting to “end the reign of punitive ecology.”

“Welcome to this great meeting of France,” greeted Jordan Bardella, head of the RN list, whose list is top in the polls. “We are proud to count on her, her expertise and experience,” Marine Le Pen said on Program X.

“This, of course, is grotesque, but political life is not without opportunism. There are people who regularly go in this direction, and they have the right to do so,” LR President Eric Ciotti responded to CNews this Sunday.
