The rumor has been circulating for several days, now it is official: Senator (LP) Francis Spiner is leaving the Changer Paris group, where Rachida Dati sits. Faced with what he calls a “disgusting political spectacle” from his former colleague, who became Attal’s minister of culture, he created his own group within the Paris Council, “Republicans and Centrists – Demain Paris!” – he said in an interview with our colleagues from Le Figaro.
“Rashida Dati is campaigning against the candidate of the Republic of Lithuania in the European elections, although this is an important deadline for the right. In politics you need to be responsible and have a bit of morality. You don’t sell your beliefs. […] It’s no surprise that people are turning to populist parties,” says Francis Spiner.
