Sheila, Thierry Ardisson and Vladimir Cosma were awarded this Thursday with the Legion of Honor, Smine with the National Order of Merit.

The Legion of Honor will soon come and decorate the costumes of new personalities. Sheila, Thierry Ardisson and Vladimir Cosma will be entitled to this privilege during the ceremony organized this Thursday, according to information from BFM TV that we can confirm.

78-year-old Annie Chancel, aka Sheila, was already inducted as a Knight of the Legion of Honor in March 1998. This time she will be awarded the rank of officer, thanks to her activities as a singer and honorary president of an association fighting AIDS. The French-Romanian composer Vladimir Cosma (83), knighted in February 2005, received the same award. The violinist and conductor is known for his scores for films such as “The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob”, “L’Aile ou la Cuisse”, “Ace of Aces” or “The Goat”.

Smine Knight Commander of the National Order of Merit

For his part, Thierry Ardisson (75 years old) will be awarded the Legion of Honor as a presenter and television and film producer. The three individuals are among the 358-member 2023 civilian honorees.

According to Le Parisien, Smine, a star comedian of the 1980s and 1990s, will be named a Knight Commander of the National Order of Merit.

On July 14, other cultural figures were also awarded. Françoise Fabian and Christian Clavier received promotions when director Michel Hazanavicius was named a Knight of the Legion of Honour.
