The left, united under its New Popular Front, recorded progress on Monday with 28% of voting intentions in the first round of legislative elections, behind the National Rally (33%) and ahead of the presidential camp (18%), according to an Ifop poll for LCI.
The New Popular Front, which in recent days has resulted in a program common to the main forces of the left (Socialist Party, Ecologist, La France insoumise, Communist Party, etc.), gains two points compared to the last poll carried out by the same institute. held on June 13 and 14, and by three points compared to June 10 and 11.
Winner of the European elections, RN remains in the lead but still loses two points compared to Ifop’s last two measurements, which put its voting intention at 35%. As for the presidential camp, it stabilized over the week, fluctuating between 18 and 19%.

The polling institute also distinguished two branches of Republicans for the first time, with the History Channel and Independent receiving 5% of the popular vote, compared to 4% for the RN alliance candidates championed by Eric Ciotti.

The survey was conducted online from June 14 to June 17, 2024, using a representative sample of 1,131 people registered on the voter register. The error ranges from 1.4 to 3.1 points.
