Peruvian sport added a new victory, this time in Thailand. The national fighter Suci Zerpa is training in that country and last weekend she returned to appear in a ring, to face the Thai representative Emmypizza Rajhabat, whom she managed to defeat categorically.

The battle was on the billboard of the event called Super Champ and consisted of three rounds. The confrontation was even, but the fighter from Peru managed to be more accurate in her attacks, which served to prevail in the final determination of the judges: she was declared the winner by unanimous decision.

After taking the victory, Suci Zerpa celebrated effusively, using a Peruvian flag. The fighter has been the first Peruvian to participate in a competition of this magnitude that was televised throughout the world. Without a doubt, he left a pleasant impression with his outstanding performance.

The athlete, a native of Ancash, will remain a few more days in Thailand and her return to Peru is expected for the month of February. Some time ago, the brave athlete confessed that her “great dream is to represent the country in the Olympic Games”. Let us remember that Muay Thai has already been accepted by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and will be included in future competitions.

In the same way, it is worth mentioning that during the month of December, Suci Zerpa was present at the IFMA World Championship 2021 Bangkok, along with other compatriots, and had an outstanding performance: she took fifth place. Since then, the fighter has remained on Thai soil to continue preparing and has reaped good results.
