Al-Hilal was eliminated in the semi-final of the Club World Cup, after losing 1-0 to Chelsea, the last champion of the Champions League. After the game, André Carrillo, who participated in the final minutes with the Saudi squad (he entered at 81 ′), presented his shirt to Jorginho, one of the main stars of the ‘Blues’.

After the final whistle from the Mexican referee César Arturo Ramos, the members of the English institution began to celebrate on the lawn of the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, while the players of the defeated team lamented the result. The scene was usual.

On the other hand, Jorginho, who had only played the first half, entered the field at a slow pace, along with some of his teammates who were on the substitutes’ bench. Suddenly, André Carrillo approached the Italian-Brazilian midfielder, handed him the shirt he had worn in the match and quickly left.

According to the images, the Chelsea midfielder would have made the special request to the “Culebra”, since an exchange was not observed. Despite spending a short time on the field during the tournament, the Peruvian attacker has the respect of different world figures.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that Al-Hilal’s participation in the Club World Cup has not ended, since they still have to play for third place. André Carrillo’s team will have to measure forces against Egypt’s Al Ahly this Saturday, February 12 (8:00 am Peruvian time), at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

André Carrillo’s gesture with a child

After Al-Hilal’s victory over Al-Jazira (6-1) in the quarterfinals, André Carrillo, who had scored a penalty goal, made a tender gesture: he observed that a child was removed from the field, after overcoming the security barrier, and came over to hand him his shirt. As could be seen in a video on Instagram, the little fan received the precious clothing and left, jumping for joy, towards one of the stands of the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
