Edison Flores spoke about his present: “I’m finding confidence”

Edison Flores became the key man of the Peruvian team in the double date for the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers. The popular ‘Orejas’ scored the winning goal in the match (1-0) against Colombia in Barranquilla and scored the tie (1 -1) against Ecuador at the National Stadium.

“We are focused on things being good this year, much better, and showing what I can do on the pitch”, added the ‘Orejitas’ who is preparing for the start of the MLS season (February 26).

How is Peru doing in the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers?

The Peruvian team adds 21 units and is located in the fifth position which grants the playoff. In the next double matchday they will face Uruguay in Montevideo and will close against Paraguay in Lima at the end of March (Conmebol has not yet confirmed the dates or times). If Gareca’s squad wins both games, they will qualify directly for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
