FPF announced that it will receive support from Minsa and Congress to return to 100% capacity in stadiums

The recent match of the Peruvian team against Ecuador could be played with 70% of the capacity of the National Stadium. However, this figure could increase, according to the announcement made on Wednesday night by the Peruvian Football Federation.

The governing body of Peruvian soccer reported that efforts were made with the Ministry of Health and the Congress of the Republic so that the full capacity of the sports venues can be reached. Although it was not specified, said measure would affect the commitments of the ‘Blanquirroja’ and also those of League 1.

“Thanks to the efforts of the president of the Peruvian Football Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Congress of the Republic, support will be received from the authorities so that football returns with 100% capacity and with minors, as well How to continue promoting vaccination with full doses”, indicated the organism in social networks.

The Minister of Health, Hernán Condori, and also the president of the FPF, Agustín Lozano, participated in the meeting.

“The FPF highlighted its willingness to continue being a strategic ally so that the vaccination is a success, for which it made its logistics and human resources available for the next activities”detailed, for its part, the Minsa, in a publication on Twitter.

The next game for the Peruvian national team is scheduled for Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 pm (Peruvian time) at the National Stadium. The duel will be valid for the eighteenth date of the Qualifiers heading to Qatar 2022.

As for League 1, the second day has already been played and in a few days the third date will begin. These matches, that is to say, are taking place with fans in the stands after almost two years without being able to do so.
