The WWE has more and more fans and the popularity in Latin America was not only due to the presence of the outstanding fighters, but also because of the voices that were in charge of transmitting the emotions. During the last decades, Carlos Cabrera stood out for his comments, but his stay in the company came to an end.

As revealed by the legendary Hugo Savinovich to Lucha Libre Online, the Colombian presenter will leave the broadcasts of the events after 29 years in front of the screens. The news caused deep sorrow among the fans of this discipline, which was reflected on social networks.

Recall that Carlos Cabrera (62 years old) began his stage in the McMahon company in 1993, initially sharing roles with Savinovich (until 2011). From then on, the commentator teamed up with Marcelo Rodríguez, with whom he hit it off perfectly and maintained a fresh style in the broadcasts.

However, Hispanic fans will have to adapt to the new change in WWE for this 2022. A historic chapter will close with the departure of the interpreter, who accompanied children, youth and adults during the broadcast of the different events.

For now, Marcelo Rodríguez remains the only presenter at the table in Spanish of the wrestling company, but everything indicates that Jerry Soto will be in charge of accompanying him. The Puerto Rican has already been part of the company and would return to the screens (he had been fired at the end of 2020 due to job cuts due to the COVID-19 pandemic and reappeared three weeks ago at a publicity event).
