Argentine Claudio Spinelli returned to his country and recalled what he experienced in Ukraine: “I felt a kind of panic attack”

Thousands of people are experiencing an ordeal because of the armed attack that Russia launched against Ukraine exactly a week ago. As the hours progressed, the media reported the cases of families who left their country to seek refuge in another territory. The same thing happened with foreigners who, for various reasons, reside on Ukrainian soil.

This is how the case of Claudio Spinelli, an Argentine soccer player in the First Division of Ukraine, became known. The man from FC Oleksandria, like so many other foreigners, asked their governments for help to get out of the war-affected area. In this way and after hours of anguish, the striker was able to land this Thursday at home.

Finally, Spinelli will take some time to decide what he will do with his career. “I have to talk about it with my people, with my work group. I am very well prepared for what is to come. Today I want to see my family, hug them and rest. I’ll see how my career goes tomorrow”told TyC Sports.
