Cristiano Ronaldo wrote one of the most exciting chapters of his career this Saturday night at Old Trafford. The Portuguese star showed off with a hat-trick and gave Manchester United the victory (3-2) against Tottenham, in a vibrant match, valid for matchday 29 of the Premier League.

The brilliant performance and the result achieved at the Theater of Dreams, without a doubt, generated enormous joy for ‘CR7′. To summarize his feelings, the Portuguese used his Instagram account and left a message for his millions of followers.

“I am tremendously happy with my first hat-trick since returning to Old Trafford! Nothing beats the feeling of being back on the pitch and helping the team with goals and effort. We have proven once again that we can beat any team on any given day, as long as we work hard and stick together as one. There are no limits for Manchester United! It does not matter that! Come on, ‘Hell’!”, Cristiano Ronaldo wrote.

Cristiano Ronaldo, record man

With his three goals in Saturday’s match, Cristiano Ronaldo has already scored 807 in his career in official matches, becoming the best scorer in history, surpassing the 805 goals scored by Josef Bican, an Austrian and Czechoslovak attacker, active between l930 and 1955.

Although Bican’s figure is still controversial, the Portuguese’s are incontestable, with 692 goals scored for clubs and 115 with his national team, which also makes him the top scorer in the history of Portugal.

“It was his best performance, at least since I arrived. He was very good in training on Thursday and that’s why I decided to make him a starter”United’s German coach Ralf Rangnick said regarding Cristiano Ronaldo.

“A fantastic performance. Not only for the three goals, but he helped the team when the rival had possession of the ball”, the coach added about the Portuguese.
