Lionel Messi and Neymar were the players targeted by the PSG fans who arrived this Sunday at the Parc des Princes stadium for the Ligue 1 match against Bordeaux. During the warm-up and throughout the match, the club’s fans whistled at the Argentine and to the Brazilian every time they were named or touched the ball.

As expected, the reaction of the Paris Saint Germain fans against their own stars went around the world, with the Uruguayan Luis Suárez being one of the few to speak out. Through social networks, the Atlético de Madrid striker supported his former teammates at Barcelona.

Through a story on his Instagram account, the Uruguayan attacker criticized the attitude of the fans of the Parisian cast and left a forceful message along with a photo in which he appears with Leo Messi and Neymar in the celebration of a Barcelona title.

“Football without memory. Always with you Neymar and Lionel Messi, I love you very much”wrote the Uruguayan striker, who, with the aforementioned footballers, formed the successful ‘MSN’, one of the tridents most remembered by football fans.

All the headlines this Sunday were whistled except for Kylian Mbappé, who came to be applauded. The tense reception coincided with a harsh statement from one of the main organized fans of PSG.

For the first time, the Paris Ultras Collective (CUP) demanded on Saturday the departure of the current club management, headed by Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi, due to the need for “people who serve the club and do not take advantage of it”.

Since 2011, Al-Khelaifi has invested some 1,400 million euros in signings and has hired several of the world figures -the last of them, Messi-, without having yet achieved the Champions League.
