Raziel García will not play the match against Uruguay in Montevideo due to the accumulation of yellow cards. The soccer player will become one more fan to encourage the Peruvian team at the Centenario stadium, but he may be taken into account by Ricardo Gareca for the commitment against Paraguay for the last date of the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.

Regarding the upcoming double shift, the Deportes Tolima midfielder expressed his desire to get a direct ticket to Qatar. He mentioned it in a dialogue with Soccer as a RPP field.

“God willing, I hope to qualify directly. You have to go game by game and get a good result in Montevideo. Then we will see what to do at home against Paraguay”declared the midfielder who joined the ‘Blanquirroja’ training this Friday.

In another part of the interview, the midfielder referred to Christian Cueva’s good moment in Al-Fateh. “Very happy for him. It’s nice to have a good time, especially now that we need it. I’m glad to see it shine abroad.”he added.

Raziel García has been considered by the “Tiger” since the Copa América Brasil 2021 and left a pleasant impression. Por, the player, who wore the Cienciano shirt last season, has played five games with the Peruvian team in the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.

How is Peru doing in the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers?

The Peruvian team is in fifth place (playoff zone) with 21 points, while Uruguay has 22 units and is in fourth place. For this reason, the duel in Montevideo is vital to decide which team has the most options to qualify directly for Qatar 2022.
