Melgar and Ayacucho FC: this is the schedule of the matches of the Peruvian teams in the South American 2022

Melgar and Ayacucho FC are the Peruvian representatives in the group stage of the Copa Sudamericana 2022. The national clubs will fight to advance to the round of 16 with this new format in which the Arequipa team already has experience, since it participated in the last edition, but failed to qualify.

Schedule of Ayacucho FC

The cast from Ayacucho will play the commitments as a local at the Garcilaso Stadium. The matches (whether visiting or in Cusco) will start at 7:15 pm (Peruvian time) with the exception of the last one (5:15 pm).

How did Melgar and Ayacucho classify?

Melgar was the first to qualify for the group round, after defeating Cienciano 2-1 on the general scoreboard. Although in the first match, which was held at the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega stadium in Cusco, both teams were tied 1-1, in Arequipa their pass was sealed with a goal by Bernardo Cuesta at 19 ‘.

Ayacucho FC got their pass to the group stage after beating Sport Boys in the aggregate. In the first leg they defeated the pinks 2-0; while, in the return leg, the “Foxes” lost 2-3, but the result was enough for them to be in the Conmebol Sudamericana.
