The Peruvian team will not be able to count on André Carrillo in their ranks in the match against Paraguay, on the last date of the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers. The talented attacker suffered from an injury and was left out of the squad, but he was not forgotten by his teammates: They all used polo shirts with a message of support for the ‘Culebra’.

In the first instance, the ‘Blanquirroja’ goalkeepers, Pedro Gallese, Carlos Cáceda and Ángel Campos, showed the allusive polo shirts for the Al-Hilal star. “Speedy recovery”, was the outstanding phrase that was stamped on the garment, which quickly went viral through social networks.

Then, the remaining members of the Peruvian team went out to perform the rigorous warm-up with the same clothing. In the background, the song Contigo, Peru began to play, which was performed in unison by all the fans who were present in the stands of the National Stadium in Lima.

Minutes later, André Carrillo was seen in one of the boxes of the sports venue, from where he will follow the performance of his teammates, who will seek victory to ensure the ticket to the playoff for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Peru reported the discharge of André Carrillo

Through social networks, the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) sent the following message to announce the absence of the “Culebra”: “The Peruvian team regrets to inform that Al-Hilal FC midfielder, André Carrillo, is unaffected from the match against Paraguay on the last date of the South American Qualifiers after suffering a sprain in his left knee”.
