Castillo: “We have to play politically, socially and economically in the World Cup to recover families”

The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, greeted the victory of the Peruvian team in the Peru vs. Paraguay that was played this March 29, and compared the possibility that the team can participate in the next World Cup with the need to overcome the “generalized crisis”.

“When everyone points to that ball, when everyone is focused on wanting to achieve something, that must be transferred to these spaces, this space that they have left us for a world competition”commented during an event at the Government Palace.

“Just as the challenge of the presidents, of the communities, of the countries in the face of this generalized crisis is global, today we have to play politically, socially, economically this world cup, the world cup of recovering families”he added.

With this allusion to the match that the Peruvian national team won 2-0 against Paraguay, the president began the installation session of a commission to propose joint food actions in favor of the most needy.

“I must begin my participation by expressing my greetings and my thanks to the Peruvian national team, to these young people, to these boys, to this team, to the teacher, to the professor who is in charge of this team and to the young people who have shown us that teaming yes things can be done”said Castillo Terrones

The president had already greeted the national team and Ricardo Gareca after the favorable results of Peru vs. Paraguay through social networks.

“I am very excited about the victory of the Peruvian team. His perseverance, dedication and teamwork are characteristics of all Peruvians when we want to achieve our goals. Thank you teacher, technical team and guys. Democracy won last night, today Peru won”he wrote on his Twitter account.
