It did not go according to plan: AJ Styles suffered a problem with pyrotechnics that caused a cut on his face. Although “El Fenomenal” continued with his characteristic entrance, when the camera focused on him in the foreground, the blood on his face could be seen. Immediately, WWE decided to show open plans to prevent the error with the pyrotechnics from being noticed; however, from AT&T Stadium we could see it from the press room.

AJ Styles came out to the ring to face Edge; however, during his usual admission he suffered a problem with the pyrotechnics. Although there are rumors that he went with the scenery, it can be seen that after the pyrotechnics he appears with the wound on his face, which was the product of a miscalculation on his walk to the ring.

However, this did not stop the “Phenomenal” from walking at all, who walked to the ring and tried to make his presentation normally. Despite this, it was observed that he was uncomfortable in the first minutes of the fight, he even miscalculated a movement, but it was not detrimental to him or Edge.

Edge won with Damian Priest’s distraction

The fight was pretty good from start to finish; however, a distraction from Damian Priest cost AJ Styles dearly, who fell into the clutches of a spear that was lethal to him.

After the end of the fight, Edge posed with Damian Priest, hinting that they will form an alliance for the future in WWE.
