Peruvian team added its second victory in the Futsal Down World Cup

The Peruvian team achieved a new victory in the Futsal Down World Cup. This Sunday night, the red and white team beat Argentina 2-1, within the framework of the second day of Group B of the competition, which takes place at the modern Videna de San Luis velodrome.

The cast led by Giancarlo Zárate took to the field motivated by the 4-1 they won against their counterpart from Mexico on Saturday and beat the ‘Albiceleste’. An own goal by Agustín Trataglia and a goal by Édgar Gómez allowed the ‘Bicolor’ to bring new joy to the country.

The victory also served for the Peruvian team to ensure its presence in the next round of the competition. However, the game against Portugal, their last opponent at this stage, is pending. Said comparison is agreed for this Tuesday, April 5, from 8:00 pm (Peruvian time).

On the other hand, it is important to remember that Group A is made up of Brazil, Chile, Turkey and Uruguay. These teams also show great participation and fight to achieve the coveted world championship.

Futsal Down World Cup

The Futsal Down World Cup began on April 2 and will run until April 10. It is the first time that it is organized in Peru. Previously, the championship was played in Russia (2016) and Brazil (2019).
