Guardiola on Haaland: “I’m not talking about the transfer market and less when we still have competitions to win”

Pep Guardiola, coach of the Manchester Citydid not want to talk about the possible signing of Erling Haland and assured that right now he has “other things on his mind”.

The Spanish coach was asked about the Norwegian striker, who is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, but he did not want to give any clues about a possible signing for his team.

“I’m not talking about the transfer market, especially when we’re still playing for a lot of things,” said Guardiola, who faces Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League this week.

“I don’t have an answer to that question. I have other things on my mind before what is going to happen next season”, added the Sampedor coach.

Haaland, one of the most coveted strikers in the world, has been closely associated with Manchester City who, since Sergio Agüero’s departure, do not have a pure center forward in the squad.
