It went straight to the leg: Raúl Ruidíaz, victim of a terrible entry by a rival in the MLS | VIDEO

Raúl Ruidíaz was left wanting to score last Saturday for the Seattle Sounders, in a match that ended in a defeat (4-3) at the hands of the San Jose Earthquakes, for the MLS. The Peruvian starred in some scoring situations, but was also the victim of a terrible foul by a rival defender.

At minute 10 of the first half, the ‘Flea’ received the ball from one of his teammates, made an oriented control and, when he was about to settle down to finish off, Nathan Cardoso committed a harsh offense in the area. The Brazilian, that is to say, went straight to the attacker’s right leg.

As a result of the impact, Ruidíaz fell to the ground and writhed in pain for several seconds. As expected, the referee determined that there was a penalty in favor of the Sounders. However, the judge decided not to show Nathan the red card and only showed him yellow.

Already recovered, the Peruvian attacker was not in charge of the execution from the twelve steps. The Uruguayan Nicolás Lodeiro grabbed the ball and scored the 1-0 goal at PayPal Park.

Fortunately, Ruidíaz was able to continue and was on the field until the 82nd minute, when he was replaced by Will Bruin. Regarding the foul, the former Universitario player, Monarcas Morelia, among others, shared the video on his Instagram account, and wrote: “Abusive”.
