For 90 million: PSG decided to place Neymar on the transfer list for next season

The Parisian team did not have the expected results and they are already making important decisions for next season. PSG secured the Ligue 1 title after drawing with Lens and has been considering releasing more than one player, the most striking name being Neymar, according to Sky Sports.

As several European media have been speculating for a few weeks, PSG’s top brass want to recompose the squad for the 2022-23 season and Neymar is one of those indicated to leave the team. Of course, the Parisians are not willing to give it away to any club.

The aforementioned source points out that Paris Saint-Germain has valued the 30-year-old Brazilian striker at 90 million euros. No more no less. That is the figure that in the Parc des Princes they consider fair for his departure after having paid 222 ‘kilos’ for the player from São Paulo in the European summer of 2017.

In the hard core of PSG they have tired of Neymar’s weak performance in recent years. He gets injured a lot and disappears on the big European nights, like against Real Madrid this season, reasons that for the board are enough to want to get rid of him at the end of the course.

Despite the fact that he renewed his contract with PSG less than a year ago, and until 2025, Paris Saint-Germain hopes to make good money with his sale to finalize the arrival of other signings. However, as he warned him a few days ago, the Brazilian would not be willing to leave the Parc des Princes.

I still have a contract with Paris Saint-Germain, which is for three more years. I’m here, with the beeps and whistles that they send against us”, were the first words of the Brazilian, in an interview for ESPN, about the complicated relationship with the fans.

I’m staying for three years, so stop or you’ll have to get some more air.”, added the former Santos and Barcelona striker, making it clear that the only thing on his mind is to continue playing at PSG.
