On matchday 35 of France’s Ligue 1, PSG visited Strasbourg at the Stade de la Meinau, which they showed off to packed stands. The local fans made themselves felt with songs, but also with boos for the rival soccer players and Neymar was the main one pointed out. Precisely, the Brazilian received a whistle when he was changed and responded with a kiss.

It all happened as the clock approached 86 minutes and the Parisians had a 2-3 lead on the scoreboard. Coach Mauricio Pochettino decided to freshen up the attacking zone and opted to withdraw ‘Ney’ from the field, to allow the entry of Argentine Ángel Di María.

After noticing the substitution, Neymar slowly left the field of play, while greeting some of the players he met along the way. In parallel, the whistles of the Strasbourg fans present in the stands were heard in unison.

Finally, the experienced Brazilian soccer player left the field, with a smile on his face, and decided to respond to the disapproval shown by the opposing fans. As could be seen in the broadcast of the match, the former Barcelona player blew a kiss towards the people who booed him.

Immediately, Neymar placed himself on the substitutes’ bench and awaited the outcome of the match. Unfortunately, there was a bitter taste for Paris Saint-Germain: Anthony Caci appeared in added time (91′) and made it 3-3 for Strasbourg. After the agonizing goal, the fans of the ‘Railways’ celebrated with euphoria.
