Pochettino referred to the rumors that revolve around his permanence as PSG coach

The season is nearing the end and, despite having a contract, his future is not clear. Mauricio Pochettino gave statements for Europe 1 in which he was honest about his permanence at PSG for the next season, as well as the rumors about the possible replacements he would have.

Regarding his future, the former Tottenham coach pointed out that “I have one more year on my contract, I want to continue in the next season, beyond the rumours, my desire remains intact. The management of the club is the one that makes the decisions, always respectable. I participate in what happened, in the present and in the future”.

“We must be very precise, as I told Leonardo, these are issues that we are going to discuss. I want to help the club, I am with the club and with the players. We are going to talk, to expose this year and see what we must correct. I don’t say it publicly because first we have to talk privately.” Pochettino added.

Regarding the speculations about possible replacements, the coach of the Parisian club maintained that it is “A calm person, I don’t give importance to what is said, I am calm like that in life. I know the exposure that being at PSG means, the rumors that are generated, I take it easy. The preparation and the experience that I have helps me to be serene and that the parallel reality does not affect me, that I have a real vision of what is happening”.
