Promotion and Reservations Tournament: Where are the great figures of the 2019 champion Sporting Cristal?

Last Thursday the Peruvian Football Federation confirmed the return of Promotion and Reservations Tournament for this June 3. After two years, the championship that seeks to promote training in soccer for minors will be played regionally again.

Brandon Palacios

Today, at the age of 24, the son of ‘Chorri’ plays for Carlos Stein and averages 12 games and only one goal so far in the 2022 Decentralized Championship.

Jeremy Cinnamon

He was one of the top scorers in that tournament, scoring two goals in the game that gave Sporting Cristal the championship in 2019. The 22-year-old midfielder left the sky-blue club to join the ranks of Alianza Atlético since 2020, a team with which he achieved promotion to the First Division.

Aryan Roma

The Peruvian midfielder arrived at Sporting Cristal in 2017 and was part of the two-time champion team of the Promotion and Reserve Tournament with a great game and scoring goals. His good performance led him to be pre-selected national U-18. Currently the 20-year-old winger is part of the Ayacucho FC squad.

Percy Liza

The national striker was a key player in the 2018 champion team. His good performances and eye for goal led him to debut in the first team the following season. At 22 years old, he is one of the few of that generation that remains in the “Bajopontino” club to this day and he is the team’s top scorer.
