Roland-Garros 2022 is now. The little yellow ball is back! After two editions disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s time for the 121st vintage of this event which will bring together – between May 22 and June 5, 2022, Porte d’Auteuil, in Paris – the biggest tennis stars (unfortunately except Roger Federer, still injured in the knee…).

The final draw of the Grand Slam tournament (the others are the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open) therefore begins from this Sunday, May 22. Two groups share the Roland-Garros broadcasting rights: France Télévisions (France 2, France 3, France 4), and Amazon, through its streaming platform, Prime Vidéo, which has notably got its hands on the “night sessions and matches taking place on the Simonne-Mathieu court.

The “night session”? The Australian Open and the US Open are already used to it. In the evening, from 8:30 p.m. (time of the start of the broadcast), a match will take place on the central court (broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, therefore) which will be one of the big posters of the day of the French Open. The streaming service has obtained the exclusivity of ten evenings (including two quarter-finals).

Amazon also has all the matches taking place on the Simonne-Mathieu court (therefore during the day), as well as the semi-finals and finals of the men’s and women’s singles (but which will also be broadcast on France Télévisions, on France 2 in this case !).

France Télévisions remains the “historic” partner of the tournament on clay. To follow the Grand Slam tournament on the France Télévisions channels, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., you will have to zap on France 4, or on France 5, two free DTT channels, before switching to France 2 to follow the matches. of the afternoon. It will also be possible to follow the matches on the various digital media of France TV Sport, from your smartphone, tablet or computer.
