Messi said goodbye to Di María: “It was nice to share this year with you at PSG”

Angel Di Maria has finished his journey through PSG after seven seasons at the Parisian club. In 2021-22 he shared a dressing room with his friend and teammate from the Argentine team Leo Messi. That is why the captain of the ‘Albiceleste’ did not miss the opportunity to dedicate emotional words to ‘Fideo’ after his last game in the Parque de los Príncipes.

On his official Instagram account, Lionel Messi attached nine photos showing some moments he shared with Ángel Di María during the season at PSG. Likewise, there are also two postcards with the shirt of the Argentine team.

The captain of the ‘Albiceleste’ accompanied the photographs with an emotional message: “It was a pleasure to have shared this last year with you in Paris”the post begins.

Then add: “We’ve known each other for a long time, but it’s not the same being from day to day to seeing each other from time to time. You confirmed what I knew, that you are a great person, both you and your family”.

Finally, Messi wrote the following: “As a player and above all, for what you did at this club, there is nothing to say: all impressive. I wish them the best in this new step, we will miss them”.

As is known, Ángel Di María will be one of the players who will not continue at PSG for next season. With their sights set on the Champions League, the Parisian club will seek to strengthen themselves to win such an old title.
