Ricardo Gareca asks Carlo Ancelotti for recognition for the Champions League title

Real Madrid won its fourteenth UEFA Champions League title after beating Liverpool (1-0) at the Stade de France. After the game, ESPN did not stop its transmissions as the panelists began to analyze the balance of the season for the white team.

Miguel Simón, Javier Zanetti, Morena Beltrán and Óscar Ruggeri explained the strengths of the Spanish cast to raise the ‘Orejona’. However, they forgot to mention the strategist Carlo Ancelotti and Ricardo Gareca made it known.

The popular ‘Cabezón’ confessed that the DT Peruvian team sent him a message in which he asked for recognition from his colleague- “‘Flaco’ tells me that we haven’t appointed the Real Madrid coach who is doing incredible things because if another coach won it we would put him first”he pointed.

After the detail that the ‘Tiger’ pointed out, the three panelists began to highlight Ancelotti’s work in this campaign at the helm of the ‘White House’. Miguel Simón even revealed that he read Calm leadership: conquering minds which is a book that the Italian wrote.

Carlo Ancelotti is the first coach to win four editions of the Champions League

The Italian coach put Real Madrid back on track to win the Champions League, as happened in the 2013-14 season. Despite the doubts generated by his return, the experienced strategist showed that he has the ability to continue achieving great things.

Precisely, Ancelotti has managed to write his name on a historical page of the contest: he is the first coach to win the ‘Orejona’ four times. Until before the new cup won, ‘Carletto’ was tied on three, along with Bob Paisley (Liverpool) and Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid).

However, there is a more important detail for the coach, since he established this new brand by triumphing with two institutions: AC Milan (2002-03 and 2006-07) and Madrid (2013-14 and 2021-22). Without a doubt, one more reason to highlight Carlo’s great work throughout his career on the bench.
