Anderson Santamaría, two-time champion with Atlas: “I am very excited. We believed it”

Likewise, the 30-year-old athlete explained that it was a tough league for him, due to an injury he suffered, and that it even prevented him from playing the second half of the duel against Pachuca.

“It was a very tough league for me, because they were very complicated games, I couldn’t even breathe anymore, but I played with my heart. Today, I couldn’t do much more, but there are all the teammates who work together because they all want to be in this group and we are all winners “he pointed.

Finally, Santamaría was asked if he would raise his hand for Qatar, regarding the chance of the Peruvian team in the playoffs. “I’m going to work, I’m going to fight for the position; right now I want to enjoy”, was his blunt reply.
