In fact, the journalist Fabrizio Romano, in the Turin club await Pogba’s response. “Juventus is still working on the Paul Pogba deal, awaiting his final response, after the initial contract proposal made ten days ago.”wrote the Italian.

Arriving at Old Trafford in 2016 for more than €110 million ($118 million), having won the Italian championship every season he spent in Turin, plus two Italian Cups, Pogba disappointed globally at United, only Showing off his talent at times.

The 2016/2017 season was, however, promising, with victories in the League Cup and the Europa League, but the decline of the ‘Red Devils’ followed, without trophies since then.

The French player had arrived at Manchester United for the first time at the age of 16, from Le Havre, making his debut in 2012 with the first team, under the orders of Alex Ferguson, before leaving for Italy.

His relations with his managers in England were often complicated, even stormy, as with José Mourinho.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who had succeeded him, was able to get the best of him for a while in a 2019/2020 season complicated by injuries, but ended with a third place in the Premier, thanks to his good relationship with Bruno Fernandes.

The following season, United even finished second, albeit twelve points behind champions Manchester City, and reached the Europa League final.

But despite a number of signings, including compatriot Raphaël Varane, Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo, Pogba’s last season at Old Trafford was disappointing, with a sixth-place finish.
