Rafael Nadal scores a spectacular point against Alexander Zverev

Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev star in one of the most even duels in the semifinals of Roland Garros 2022. Neither gives up and that was demonstrated in the first set when they tied (6-6) so they had to go to a “tie -break”.

“It was a difficult match. Novak is one of the best players in history. Always playing against him is a great challenge. We have a long history between us and today was another battle and there is only one way to win against him: put the maximum of your abilities until the last ball. I am very happy with the level of my game tonight.” he added.

The ‘Matador’, who is in search of his fourteenth Roland Garros title, stressed how special that field and the support of the public is for him. “There is no other place on earth for me. This is the most important and most special pitch of my career. For me, feeling the love of everyone here in Paris in the most important place of my career is priceless.”he indicated.
