Gustavo Alfaro exploded due to the Byron Castillo case: “An apology is not enough for me”

The coach of the Ecuador national team, Gustavo Alfaroruled on the case Byron Castillo in a press conference in the United States, where the ‘Tri’ has been facing various international friendlies, and broke out against Chili for his claim before FIFA.

“We are very calm in that sense. We focused on working and preparing the team for the World Cup, because we know that we rightfully qualified where we had to win it: on the pitch. And we won it as we should win. Everything else is noise”, began the strategist.

We are very calm because of how we did things and we earned the right to participate in a World Cup on the pitch”, stated Gustavo Alfaro.

CHILE’S CLAIM AGAINST BYRON CASTILLO AND ECUADOR

The National Professional Football Association (ANFP) complained to FIFA about alleged irregularities in the nationality of Byron Castillo, which they report would have been born in Colombia and not in Ecuador. The highest body in world football has been analyzing this case and will give its response in the coming days.
